As a part of Summer on 17th, brought to you by the 17th Ave Retail & Entertainment District BIA, join us every Friday evening in Tomkins Park for a Live DJ, with monthly appearances from Calgary Drag Queens! On July 22, DJ Jack Fowle will perform, alonside as drag queen show from 6 to 8 p.m. The show will be hosted by @mrterristevens and include performers:
Drag Competition Part I
Tomkins park is about to get fierce! Competing drag queens will be going head to head in this live Drag Competition to place in the Top 3.
The contestants will perform one lip sync each to be scored by a panel of three guest judges.
The Drag Competition Part II will return to Tomkins Park on August 12 with all new competitors facing off for a Top 3 spot.
On September 2, The Top 6 return for the final show down in the Drag Competition Finale. First prize is $1,000 cash prize and a coveted spot at both WERK Pride Shows on September 2 (Palace Theatre) and September 3 (Drag Brunch).
