Philosafy Coffee

Caffe Beano has been operating for over 25 years now on 17th avenue. They pride themselves on traditional coffee and homemade baked goods. Tim Hortons is always a good idea for a morning pick-me-up, no matter your budget! Check out their location in the Mount Royal Village near the corner of 16th Ave SW and 8th St SW. This location is more of an intimate atmosphere for those quick coffee dates. The Tim’s on 10th street is a bit more open allowing for a breakfast meeting while enjoying a delicious omelette bites. Take in the view of the giant mural across the street from the 10th St location – it’s totally worth it!
European Bakery & Deli

Just one of the many hidden gems along 17th ave. European Bakery is filled with all the fresh bread & pastries you can think of. This family- run business makes a variety of different balkan specialities and it’s the ONLY place on the ave, where you can enjoy a delicious burek filled with cheese, beef or potatoes!
