From vegan fast food to a secret speakeasy cocktail bar, here’s everything that opened up on 17th Ave in the past few months, and a sneak peek into what you can expect for 2023 on Calgary’s favourite street!
Bro’s To Go
This new quick service breakfast spot opened up on 17th Ave at the end of 2022 and was brought to you by the brothers behind Bro’kin yolk, a beloved brunch spot with locations around the city. Bro’s To Go was born out of the idea that fast food and quality service should be a package deal, and this new 5th street eatery is proving that it can be. Their menu is comprised of burgers and sandwiches with a specialty in breakfast: many menu options come topped with eggs, house-cured bacon and smashed avocado. Pair these mouthwatering sandos with their selection of espresso-based drinks, and selection of sides (hello sriracha kale salad).
