Get Crafty On 17th Ave

As we sit tight through additional COVID restrictions, we’re once again looking for safe and fun ways to spend our days. Although these restrictions may feel limiting, they open up more of our time for things like phone calls with family, hobbies such as reading and crafting, or learning a new skill. 17th Ave is home to a number of different art and craft supply stores, carrying everything from paint supplies to stationary, yarn, beads and more – all of which are sure to keep you entertained for the next few weeks, so head down to 17th Ave, check out these stores and get crafty! 

 

Passion For Glass

Passion For Glass’s 17th Ave art gallery & glass studio is still open for viewing if you are headed down to the Ave, but if you’re seeking out a unique experience or crafting idea, they also offer a variety of take-home glass kits. Each kit comes with detailed instructions, along with all of the pieces you need to complete your project – the end result is a beautiful mosaic coaster or plate. Mona Lisa Art Supplies 

Did you know that Mona Lisa Art Supplies is one of Western Canada’s largest fine art supply retailers? Color Me Mine Uptown

Although Color Me Mine is not open for in-studio painting at this time, they do have to-go kits available to do from home!
