The Big Cheese

Nothing solves a hangover quite like a pile of fresh cut French fries drizzled in gravy and authentic Quebec cheese curds. This 17th Ave staple has an ever-changing menu — think veggie nacho, maple bacon or perogie poutine — and is open late for those pesky midnight cravings.

Alumni

Sandwiches are good for the soul, AND for the hangover, and you won’t find many better than the short but sweet list of Alumni’s between bread options, which range from go-to classics to inventive new favourites. They’ve become synonymous with their hot chicken sandwich, and for good reason, but you’d be remiss not to try other hot ticket items such as their chicken parmesan, chorizo torta or double burger.
