The newest BMeX restaurant group creation opens its doors on the Ave – say hello to UNA Take Away! The famous UNA pizza + wine has been so busy feeding YYC’s insatiable need for California inspired ‘za that after 7 years in the business, owners Jayme MacFayden and Kelly Black saw a need for more dough on the go. Located right next door to its big sister, this little gem was created purely out of love and necessity.
The take out business at UNA grew to something bigger than we had expected. The sales of to-go alone justified an expansion.
“Take Away” is a friendly neighbourhood market offering the same great food to go. Originally planned to support UNA’s huge take-out business, the new space has been re-invented as so much more. Everything here is made in-house and designed for grab n’ go or prepare at home. Savour everything from house-made smoothies and cold-pressed juices, sandwiches and salads, to frozen meatballs and lasagnas and, of course, UNA’s own Pizza by the Slice.
