From veg-forward dishes featuring seasonal produce or Spring-y cocktails made for the patio weather, here are some of the delicious Spring menu items you can try on 17th Ave this month.

Ceili’s New Cocktail Menu

Hop on over to your favourite 17th Ave patio and check out Ceili’s list of new summer cocktails you can sip on this season. Get your watermelon sugar high with their new signature cocktail featuring absolut watermelon, peach schnapps, soda, cran and simply syrup, or check out their margs in flavours like blueberry or coconut jalapeno. Pair these tasty bevvies with one of their savoury serious pizzas and a spot on their patio, and you’ve got yourself a very lovely Spring afternoon ahead of you.

This local favourite is serving up their new Spring menu items for pickup, takeout, or to be enjoyed on their dreamy 17th Ave patio – yes, this popular Indian restaurant has a hidden patio at their Red Mile location. Snack on new items such as beef kebabs tandoor roasted potatoes, kale pakoras and more. Don’t worry, menu favourites like their famous kati rolls, curries, and crushable G & T’s are still available!

Element Cafe Summer Drinks 

Pop into this Instagram-worthy cafe on 17th Ave to check out their refreshing selection of summer beverages. Options include their mango mint iced black tea, which is made with fresh brewed full leaf black tea, fresh mint, pure mango juice, as well as mango and mint syrup; their peach ginger iced green tea, complete with brewed full leaf green tea mixed with their house-made ginger syrup, peach syrup, and pure peach juice; and their blueberry rosemary lemonade, featuring lemonade mixed with blueberries, blueberry syrup, and fresh rosemary. These drinks are shaken and served on iced, so they’re the perfect way to cool-down once the hot weather hits.

17th Ave’s designated dessert cafe and lounge, D Spot, has introduced some tasty new treats that you need to try this Spring. Additions such as creamy milkshakes in flavours like strawberry cheesecake or pistachio and their new rose infused ice cream, which can be enjoyed on top of their famous waffles or crepes, are just a few of these decadent desserts perfect for a Spring-time treat.

The Coup Seasonal Menu

The Coup’s rotating menu always highlights the best of each season, with a majority of their vegetarian and vegan dishes made with local, organic ingredients. This Spring, try out dishes like their vegan cauliflower “cheddar” tart made with red fife pastry, pickled cucumbers and smoked paprika or try their squash and goat cheese salad, complete with maple roasted squash, dancing goats farm chèvre, orange blossom macerated gala apples, pumpkin seed praline and smoked crabapple vinaigrette.
