Downtown newcomer Meltwich just opened on the corner of 10th Street and 16th Ave SW, and is serving up their take on classic comfort foods. Meltwich originally got its start in Ontario, but it now has multiple locations across Canada, including their first location in YYC – lucky us!
Coming in HOT, this unique sandwich shop specializes in artisan grilled cheese, home-made Burgers, Poutines, Salads, Soups, Fries and Handspun Milkshakes. Sample items like their Philly cheesesteak sandwich, Reese’s Peanut Butter Milkshake, and classic poutine. Vegans, have no fear, you have not been forgotten here, as Meltwich also offers a variety of plant based menu options.
For late night treats, Meltwich is open until 1 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, and until 3 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Plus, check out their daily specials with deals that are just too good not to try. $3.50 pints of PBR, $2 sides on Saturdays, and $3.50 classic grilled cheese on Tuesdays. Stop by this weekend to satisfy any and all of your late night cheesy bun cravings.
