New to the Ave: Trolley 5

The wait is over and Trolley 5 Restaurant & Brewery is officially open! (728 17th Ave SW)

Named after the historic streetcar that used to glide through the Beltline area,  owners and Calgary locals PJ L’ Hereux and Ernie Tsu chose the iconic 17th Ave location as their place to bring people together around great beer.

PJ and Ernie crafted their space with the intent of making every guest feel at home while Executive Chef, Troy Raugust brings a homestyle dining experience with comfort food from around the globe. Even Dim-Sum!  The full-service menu uses ingredients sourced from nearby producers and farmers and includes gluten free, lactose free and vegetarian options.

Must Try: The Alberta BBQ Brisket is made with local Alberta beef, smoked, served with 5 signature BBQ sauces. Enjoy it with a side of Derailed Pale Ale, their first brew.

A brewery, taproom, private dining room and a room with a view are all waiting for you at Trolley 5 with each floor promising to deliver a different experience complete with great food, great beer and great company.

Sneak a peek behind the scenes with a brewery tour, grab a growler to-go, or just stop by to say hello to the newest community addition. Welcome to the Ave Trolley 5!
