Nothing says Stampede quite like a plate full o’ pancakes. From early morning patio parties to midnight flapjacks, the Ave has plenty of pancake action. Here’s where to fill yer boots:
National: Thursday, July 6th starting at 8pm. Doesn’t get any better than a midnight pancake breakfast. Except when it comes with beer and bands! Head to National for a rootin’ tootin’ pre-Stampede Hootenanny with Dandy Brewing. They’ll be bringing 5 of their best brews, and Bloodshot Bill have music to get everyone in the Stampede mood!
Roosevelt: Friday, July 7th from 8am-11am. You don’t always drink at 8am, but when you do, it should probably be at Roosevelt’s Stampede breakfast. Saddle up to their free breakfast in support of MealShare.
Caffé Beano: Sunday, July 9th starting at 9am. Rain or shine, hit up Caffé Beano for their Annual Stampede Breakfast.
1410 Bier Haus: Sunday, July 9th starting at 9am. Cowboy up and head over to 1410 for their free pancake breakfast in support of MealShare.
Local 510: Sunday, July 9th starting at 12pm. Swing by Local 510’s Sunday Afternoon Sidewalk for some brunch and live music by Liquor Mountain & guests. Brunch is on from 12pm-3pm along with $6 pints of Big Rock Rhinestone Cowboy Kolsch.
Jamesons Irish Pub: Tuesday, July 11th starting at 8:30am. Mosey on over to Jamesons for their Stampede breakfast in support of Boys & Girls Club of Calgary. $2 gets you belly full of pancakes and a full heart cause’ you did a little good during Stampede.
Ship & Anchor: Wednesday, July 12 starting at 8pm. It’s the Ship’s Annual Stampede whoop up… also known as Hank & Patsy night! Come down for some awesome bands including Peter & the Wolves, Eve Hell & The Razors, Washboard Hank, The Griffens and The Barley Hepcats! Plus, don’t miss out on the free midnight pancake breakfast!
Home & Away – Thursday, July 13 starting at 9am: Mosey on over to Home & Away for their 2nd Annual Stampede Breakfast and Patio Hootenanny. They’ll be working the grill and serving up some classic Stampede breakfast fare! Round up the troops for some patio pancake action.
