Join us for a night of festive fun on 17th Ave for our Single Jingle Mingle Holiday Pub Crawl!  This epic pub crawl will feature five different venues (plus a bonus stop in Tomkins Park), each with drink and food offers and specially curated live festive performances at each stop. Wear your Christmas spirit on your sleeve and come dressed in your holiday best – we’re talkin’ Santa hats and outfits, tacky Christmas sweaters and more! The Single Jingle Mingle is the perfect opportunity for merriment with old friends and new, with the potential to find someone to kiss under the mistletoe this Christmas. This pub crawl is open to anyone 18+ and tacky Christmas regalia is highly encouraged.

Venues include: 

  • Chilitos Taberna 
    • Performance from Sadlier Brown Band: The Sadlier-Brown Duo features Mark Sadlier-Brown (guitar and vocals), and talented wife Bev Bruce (percussion). Mark Sadlier-Brown is the front man and has been playing is own kind of rootsy, rockabilly, folk and proto-jazz music for years. He also wrote “spur of the moment” songs for the local CBC station in Calgary. Mark performed as a member of “The Highwater Jugband” and the “Alien Rebels”. The Sadlier-Brown Duo likes to mix original songs with obscure vintage songs to give you a creative show. The band’s music mostly ranges from the era of the 50’s and into the 60’s. All of their music is played with an infectious solid rhythm that encourages dancing. The look and style of the band is vintage. This includes clothes and instruments dating from the early time of country and rockabilly jive music.
  • Jamesons
    • Performance from Matt Masters: Some musicians live in Canada. Some musicians sing about Canada. But very few represent Canada with their actions backed by innovation and determination toward social development, justice, and change. Born in North Battleford, Saskatchewan and raised in Alberta, Matt Masters has had an extensive career in the arts as well as in politics. He was program leader for Alberta Music Cities at The National Music Centre, coordinator for 125th Anniversary Programs at Lougheed House, and event coordinator for Toronto Blues Society, founded and developed Canadian festivals and events such as the Spaghetti Western Music Festival, The Barney Bentall Cariboo Express, as well as produced for The Maples Blues Awards and CBC Radio. Masters has emceed countless reputable events including YYC Music Awards, Alberta Spotlight, Beltline Bonspiel, Calgary Folk Festival, and Bow Valley Music Club. More recently, Matt Masters has founded the quickly expanding Canadian company Curbside Concerts that has employed many musicians through Covid-19, while safely delivering live music performances to communities across the country. In 2020, Matt added a couple of new nominations to his repertoire of Music Industry and Person of The Year at the YYC Awards, which at the time, he was also a presenter for.

    • Performance from The Dirrty Show XxXMas: The Dirrty Show with @melodystangmusic and @kaylawilliamsmusic is back for another holiday edition of their comedy musical show! This original R-Rated (maybe even X-Rated) show includes a variety of holiday inspired songs performed by Melody & Kayla at Jamesons Pub! We can promise that you will be laughing until you cry, and maybe even feeling something funny in your pants! So, break out the Christmas sweater and join us for a night of Merry Inappropriateness. This is an 18+ show.

    • Performance from Ray Charles Tribute Orchestra: Paying homage to one of the greatest musicians of all time, the Ray Charles Tribute Orchestra is a 9-piece ensemble performing the hits penned by the legend himself. Formed by Musical Director John Gray, bassist and a leader on the Calgary jazz scene who toured with the Ray Charles Orchestra, an ensemble of the city’s finest musicians recreate the one-of-a-kind sound of Ray Charles and perform such hits as “Georgia On My Mind,” “MaryAnne,” “Hit the Road Jack” and “Let the Good Times Roll,” among them. Featuring Grammy Award-winner Donald RAY Johnson on vocals, the group includes a solid rhythm section, a killer horn section and two backup singers known as the “Donald Raylettes.”
