SHIP AND ANCHOR
Head to Ship and Anchor to try out the Village Squeeze Lemon Berry Helles, Calgary Pride’s 30th Anniversary Edition can, which will be available until the end of Pride Week. Ship and Anchor will also be matching the donation pledged by the team at @villagebrewery with proceeds from every can sold benefitting @calgarypride. Additionally, Ship and Anchor will also be participating in this year’s Shake, Stir and Strainbow with their featured beverage, The Orange Crush, which is made with Tito’s Vodka, Cointreau and Orange Concentrate. and $1 from every drink sold will be donated to @skippingstone.ca

TROLLEY 5
For the 3rd year in a row, Trolley 5 will be brewing their Inclusion Ale, which is a Blood Orange Wit, in support of Pride. Purchase a pint from August 28 – September 6 at #YourCommunityBrewpub and they will donate a portion of proceeds from each pint sold to Calgary Pride.

CALCUTTA CRICKET CLUB
Calcutta Cricket Club will be whipping up their Vegan dessert, coined “Peaches and Cream,” which comes with coconut-chai panna cotta and Bengali garam-spiced peaches for this year’s #PrideFoodYYC. Running now until September 6th, the proceeds from this dessert will support LGBTQ+ refugees through Calgary Rainbow Railroad Station. Calcutta Cricket Club will also be participating in the 3rd Annual Stir, Shake & Strainbow. This year’s cocktail, The Boy & The Bindi, was inspired by local LGBTQ2S+ leader, local visual artist, musician, and author Vivek Shraya, who provided her favourite flavours for the drink. The drink is served with Tito’s Vodka, house-made mango liqueur, ginger, lime and cardamom with coconut flakes on top. 1$ from every cocktail, which was named after Vivek’s 2016 book, will go to @skippingstoneca.

THE COUP
Head to the Coup for their seasonal vegan peach milkshake called ‘Nice To Peach Ya’, created in an effort to help raise funds and awareness for Calgary Pride. $1 from every purchase will be donated to Calgary Pride. And, if you stop in before September 6th, you can also try out their submission for this year’s Shake, Stir & Strainbow Event, where $1 from each cocktail ordered will be donated to @skippingstonesca. Their featured cocktail, titled “The Fire I’ve Become,” is named after the 1995 film festival of the same name, created by the Of Colour Collective and hosted at the Glenbow Museum.

ALUMNI
Although Alumni is not currently offering a dine-in option, they are still participating in this year’s Shake, Stir & Strainbow cocktail fundraiser in support of @skippingstoneca with their cocktail kit, The Okanagan Smoke. The kit comes with 3oz Casamigos Mezcal, 3oz Aperol, 3oz Lemon Juice
and 1.5oz BC Peach Syrup, as well as detailed instructions. The kit is $30 with ALL proceeds going to @skippingstonesca, and can be purchased online or in person.

LEO BOUTIQUE
PRIDE 2020 Face masks available at $25 each, in black or white, online or in store at Leo Boutique, who wants to ensure their LGBTQ2S+ friends can continue to ‘Wear their Pride’.

LULU BAR
For @eatnorth’s 3rd Annual Shake, Stir & Strainbow fundraiser, Lulu Bar will serving up their Venus Cocktail, with 1$ from every drink donated to @skippingstonesca. You can order this Instagram-worthy beverage until September 6, so act fast.

Head to Four20 on 17th Ave, where 50% of the proceeds from their #cannabisculture enamel pins is being donated to @calgarypride. Shop online for local pickup in Calgary.

DON’T YELL AT ME
From August 28 to September 6, one of 17th Ave’s newest residents, Don’t Yell At Me, will be partnering with @calgarypride and donating $1 for every purchase of their Pride Mojito and Rainbow Crepe Cake.

VELOUR CLOTHING EXCHANGE
Velour Clothing Exchange has brought in new trans love, rainbow hearts, non-binary, and pronoun pins by Little Rainbow Paper Co., a local Calgarian designer.

FJÄLLRÄVEN CALGARY
From Sept. 1 to Sept. 6, Fjällräven Calgary will be hosting local artists in store who will be customizing a handful of Kanken products for Calgary Pride Week.
The live art will take place until Sept. 6, and the finished work will then be displayed until Sept. 21, and up for bid in their silent auction!
The amount raised for the item will be donated to End Of The Rainbow Foundation, which connects sexually diverse (SOGIE) people to volunteers to create support groups and mentorship; match convention refugees to sponsor groups or ‘groups of five’; and provide language, employment and other training or educational services.
Guests and walk-ins can leave their info on the silent auction sheet provided, with the highest bidder chosen and contacted at the end of two weeks.
