A fresh face on 17th avenue since February 2019, Rolanda Anderson prides herself on what she has been able to accomplish for Calgarians.
Rolanda first came up with Salon True after having various health issues from exposing herself to chemicals every day, especially as a hair colour specialist. In her search to find an organic and non-toxic hair salon, Rolanda was shocked to find that Calgary didn’t have one. The solution? She created her own organic and non-toxic hair oasis.
Salon True is the first 100% organic hair salon in Calgary. Not only do they use organic products but they take it one step further by using products that are free of any toxic ingredients. You’ll find that their products are paraben free, petrolatum free, PEG, PPG and BG free/ EDTA free, synthetic fragrance free, alcohol free and artificial colorant free.
Rolanda and her team have many exciting things that they are working towards. They are constantly researching new products, trends and techniques to bring to their guests. The salon will be hosting various events for women, lessons on how to blow dry your hair, what products work for you and why others don’t, how to dress for your body at any age and so many more to come.
