Fitness junkies around the province are jumping for joy with the most recent COVID updates from the government, which announced the easing of some restrictions. As of right now, fitness studios are not able to fully re-open, but they can host 1:1 workouts or outdoor group fitness classes and we can’t wait to get sweaty with our favourite 17th Ave fitness studios again. Here are some of the outdoor and virtual workouts you can participate in this week.
League Outdoor HIIT and Yoga
If you’ve been chomping at the bit to get back into your favourite group fitness class, League will be hosting a number of different outdoor HITT and yoga classes in Earl Grey Park starting this week. Join them on June 1, 3, 8 and 10th at 6 p.m. for HIIT classes led by League’s experienced instructors, and on June 7th at 6 p.m. for an outdoor Yoga session. Starting on Wednesday, June 2nd, you can break a sweat with Rumble Boxing twice a day with their workout series, Rumble Outdoors. This high intensity workout includes a mix of shadow boxing, footwork, weights, bands and bodyweight exercises brought to you by Rumble’s motivators.
