New to 17th Ave in 2020

 

2020 has been an interesting year to say the least, and sometimes, it has felt like there were more lows than highs, but we here to focus on some of the highs, including the following list of businesses that have opened up on 17th Ave, or are coming to 17th Ave in 2020!  We think that’s something to celebrate!

FOUR20

FOUR20 opened their doors to 17th Ave for the first time this Summer,  on August 8th. This quaint location features a rejuvenated courtyard and an indoor mural by local artist, and Four20’s own graphic designer, Reva Diana.

V Burger

17th Ave SW is the new home to a completely plant-based burger joint. Yes, you heard that right! V Burger’s expansive menu featuring comfort food classics such as their DoubleBac’n Cheeseburger, Triple Chocolate Sundaes, Cheese Fries and more,are completely plant based. Kb&co

You can never have too much avocado toast, which is why one of 17th Ave’s newest residents, Kb&co has four different variations. That’s not the only Instagram-worthy item on their completely plant-based menu though. From their Chipotle Tacos featuring spiced walnut meat, to their Turmeric Toona Sandwich, which is made using from their Chickpea Turmeric Toona Salad, this new 17th Ave spot will be your new go-to, whether you eat meat or not.

Meltwich

Love comes in many forms, cubed, shredded, sliced and MELTED! 17th ave is now home to a designated grilled cheese spot. Yes, you read that correctly! Meltwich has opened, and is serving up their mouth-watering menu packed with more than 12 variations of grilled cheese, 5 different kinds of philly steak sandwiches, poutine, burgers and more. They also have plant-based options, daily deals and hand spun milkshakes. Something for everyone so head down to delight your taste buds today!

Coming to 17th

10 Degree Chocolate

Sweet tooth’s beware, there is a new chocolate shop on 17th Ave, and it sounds to die for. TEN Degrees chocolate is a family-run bean-to-bar chocolate factory, café and dessert lounge that opened on 17th on August 13, and serves up quality products like chocolate bars, bon bons and gelato. Their 17th Ave location also features a patio.

League YYC

Be ready to break a sweat at 17th Ave’s newest fitness studio, League, which offers classes in HIIT, spin and yoga. Although they aren’t opening until fall, they are currently offering 15% off memberships until the end of August. Check out their website and social media for details on their $10 drop in outdoor yoga classes they’re hosting throughout August.
