17th Ave’s very own Nashville-inspired saloon is going big for the Calgary Stampede with the addition of their Whiskey Rose tent, now open west of this Calgary bar for the 10-day festival. You can catch a drag brunch on July 9, as well as a stellar lineup of performers including Dan Davidson, Jo Jo Mason, Madeline Merlo, Tim and the Glory Boys and Aaron Pritchett between July 10 and 14. Trolley 5 Brewpub’s Cowboy Crusher Beer

Stampede Events in Tomkins Park
Don’t forget to check out FREE events in the heart of 17th Ave in Tomkins Park from July 8 to July 16! From Sunday to Friday, there will be live music from 1 to 4 p.m. and featuring artists such as Brandon Lorenzo, DoubleSuede and Lulahh N’ the Classic Crew, and on Saturday July 9 and 16 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., there will be performances from Pistol Noon, as well as line dancers, a mechanical bull, and a calf roping machine from Girletz Rodeo.
