Spring has sprung on 17th Ave, and from now until the end of May, Calgarians will be able to join in on tons of seasonal festivities happening on Calgary’s greatest street. In addition to 17th Ave’s ‘Business is Blooming’ calendar of events, which features the themes Eat, Shop, Play and Explore, and tons of fun events, promotions and specials hosted by 17th Ave businesses, you will also be able to view dozens of beautiful window murals along 17th Ave.
In collaboration with 17th Ave’s newest art gallery and studio, Paint Ur Art Out, these murals were painted on the windows of more than 30 17th Ave businesses to add a splash of vibrancy and colour to the street and embrace the Spring season. 11 local artists worked to create pieces that channeled the beauty of Spring, while adding their own personal touches and influence.
