Blues and Jazz Music in the Park- Aaron Young Performance

Blues and Jazz Music in the Park- Aaron Young Performance

As a part of Summer on 17th, join us on Wednesday, August 31 in Tomkins Park from 6 to 8 p.m. for a performance from Aaron Young.

By the time Aaron Young was just 23 years old, he had already produced, arranged and performed 15 albums. It was clear that music was going to be his future. With eclectic influences ranging from Chet Atkins to Pat Metheny, Young went on to perform on the world stage in the show “Barrage” for 5 years, touring Asia, Scandinavia, the UK, Canada and the US. You may have even seen the odd glimpse of his work on PBS, CBC, MTV, Bravo, History Television, Food Network and the BBC.

In the last 30 years Young has produced and played on over 180 albums and played on over 7500 live stage performances spanning across the globe.   His extensive experience as a live musician and producer/engineer/composer has truly cultivated a unique ability to tap into the heart of any film score or dazzle any audience.

Rich and expansive are two words to describe Aaron’s style: acoustic guitar, classical, flamenco; retro funk, motown; classic country, blues; children’s music, rock and folk. There is a style and feel for every soundtrack or live performance. With multiple international film festival awards under his belt for his music production role in feature film/documentary, “No Roads In“,  Aaron is evolving the sensation of sound.
