Watch the Flames on The Red Mile!

After months without professional live sports, Calgarians are collectively jumping for joy seeing the Calgary Flames hit the ice again for the 2020 NHL Playoffs. Although we’re not able to watch the games live, there are plenty of places on 17thAve that will be showcasing the games. Watch the Flames on the Red Mile –the authority on all things hockey in Calgary– with a group of friends (and your masks), and enjoy food and drink specials, the camaraderie of sports and playoff hockey.

National on 17th

Even if you’re not a Flames fan, you can catch all NHL action at National’s 17th Ave location and right now, if you purchase a Village Blonde, $1 of every pint sold will be matching 4:1 in support of the Calgary Food Bank, KidSport, and the Alex Community Health Centre.

Trolley 5

Enjoy food and drink specials such as their $5 sleeves of their First Crush IPA or Hasmark Blonde Ale and specials on menu items ike their Rodney’s Oysters or from scratch pizzas, while you watch the Flames battle it out for a playoff spot in this expansive Brewpub.

Mill Street

Not only can you enjoy food features, happy hour pricing and full sound while you watch the Flames hit the ice at Mill Street, you can also try out their C of Haze, a pale ale only available during the games, or for purchase at the bottle shop to take home.

Uncommon

Check out one of Calgary’s newest cocktail spots and enjoy drink specials, and full sound for your favourite NHL team, The Flames. And be sure to try out one of their many signature cocktails while you’re there!

Ceili’s

Head to Ceili’s on 17th where you can watch playoff hockey in their restaurant AND on their patio, where they’ve recently added TVs. In addition to NHL games, you can also catch MLB games and the upcoming UFC fights.

Mugs Pub

For playoff hockey action, and Railyard Brewing specials like $15 wings and pint deal, along with a $20 burger and pint deal, head over to Mugs Pub on 17th Ave.

Lounge Eighteen

Enjoy $6 draught and new ALL DAY summer specials at Lounge 18 during Flames Games. And if you’re up for it, hang around after for more food and drink specials and a live DJ.

Market

Catch the next game at Market, where they are offering tons of food and drink specials for the games, and they have also installed brand new TVs on their patio. There isn’t much that’s better than a cold beverage on a patio while watching playoff hockey.

Watchmans Pub

For ALL of your sport watching needs, head to Watchman’s Pub, where you can catch every NHL game from the first puck drop to the last.
