Street Style: Lorissa Good

Aldona B: What I love the most about personal style is that any one of us are able to showcase our personalities and really do whatever we want to reflect who we are. We have the freedom and ability to wear clothes that tell our story. And that’s one thing I can truly appreciate about Lorissa Good. Her style is reminiscent of the 90’s in the best way imaginable, and her use of colour and pattern really speaks to her personality.   She’s blunt and to the point, and isn’t shy about voicing her concerns, especially when it comes to fashion.

How would you describe your personal style?
I’m all about the 90’s. I don’t care about other decades, that’s the one that really mattered to me!

What’s one thing in your closet you couldn’t part with?
Hangers! I have a lot of hangers in my closet!

What current fashion and beauty trends are you most excited about and why?
Can I talk about what’s upsetting me? Beards and high-waisted anything!

Anything you would never do when it comes to fashion?
A beard or high-waisted jeans!

What are some of your favourite spots on 17th and why?
I love Local 510 because of Jackie and Jeff. It’s 100% legit, because, well, really??

What else would you like to see on 17th Avenue in the future?
I’d like to see a Laserquest or a paintball place on 17th Avenue – that would be so super fun!
